Instructions
Chop the Beef Sirloin Steak into strips, about half a cm in width. Place the beef strips into a medium bowl, add 1 tablespoon soy sauce, 1 teaspoon sesame oil, ¼ teaspoon baking soda, 2 teaspoons cornstarch and 1 teaspoon sugar. Mix well and allow to stand for at least 15 minutes to 1 hour.
Soak the egg noodles in a bowl with hot water for 10-15 minutes.
In a small bowl, mix together all the ingredients for the sauce. Set aside until needed.
Heat up the oil in a large frying pan or a wok. Add the chopped ginger and garlic. Fry for about 30 seconds, or until fragrant.
Add the beef and fry, stirring occasionally, until the pieces are golden brown. About 2-3 minutes.
Drain the egg noodles and add them to the beef. Add the prepared sauce and mix through, thoroughly.
Add the stir-fry mixture.I only had frozen one, thawed. So that's what I used.
Add 1 teaspoon sesame oil and freshly ground black pepper and mix through.
Cook for about 2-3 minutes more, stirring often, until the stir-fry mix is cooked to your liking.
