Roasted asparagus with garlic and cheese

Ingredients

  • 500 g asparagus
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 cup grated cheese (I used Emmentaler)
  • 2 spoons vegetable oil
  • 1 tbsp freshly ground pepper

Instructions

  • Chop off the woody ends of the asparagus, about 2-3 cm and place them in an oiled baking tray.
  • Mix the pepper and garlic together with the oil and brush over the asparagus
  • Bake for 10 minutes then add the cheese and broil for 5 minutes to get the cheese melted.
