Ingredients

  • 270 gram pack of puff pastry
  • 5 frankfurter sausages
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to the temperature shown on the pastry packaging.
    If you have freshly made dough, then heat up the oven to 220°C (430°F).
  • Roll out the dough and cut into 3 cm thick strips.
    Cut the sausages into the same thickness pieces.
  • Take one of the dough strips and connect it at the edges. You will make a sort of a loop.
    Place two sausage pieces inside.
    Make three loops, place them in a row and with your fingers pull them all together through the middle of the loops.
    To make a sort of a flower shape.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the flowers on it, about 4-5 cm apart.
    Brush each flower with melted butter.
  • Bake for 15 - 20 minutes, or according to the pastry packaging instructions.
