Delicious and easy to make, this pasta al tonno will be your go to recipe for when you want something fast an easy to make.

Heat up the oil in a deep frying pan.
In a mixing bowl, pour the contents of the tomato can. If the tomatoes are whole, break them into small pieces. I usually just squash them with a fork. Add the water.

Place the tomato mix into the frying pan and bring to simmer.

Add the oregano, basil, salt pepper and tomato paste.
Mix well. Bring to simmer and cook for about 10 minutes. The sauce will thicken a bit and some of the liquid will evaporate.

While the sauce is cooking, cook the pasta. In a large pot, bring 2 liters of salted water to boil, add the desired pasta (I used fusili) and cook according to the time on the packaging.

Open and drain the liquid from the canned tuna. Add the tuna to the tomato sauce and mix well. Cook for about 2 minutes.

By this time, the pasta should have cooked already. Drain the pasta and add directly to the tuna sauce in the frying pan. Mix through well.

Cook together for 1 minutes and your pasta al tonno is done.

Garnish with grated cheese and serve hot.
Enjoy!
