Ingredients

  • 350 grams homemade pizza dough (see notes below)
  • cup homemade marinara sauce (see notes below)
  • 300 grams Chenterelles mushrooms
  • ½ onion
  • 1 cup grated Gouda cheese
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • salt, to taste
  • freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
Add the roughly chopped onion to the frying pan and fry for about 4 minutes, until translucent.
Add the cleaned mushrooms to the onions and fry for an additional 4 minutes.
Season with salt and pepper and add oregano. Mix well and cook for a further 2-3 minutes. The mushrooms are ready.
  • Preheat the oven to 240°C (475°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
  • Now to assemble the pizza, roll out the dough on a floured surface, until it reaches your desired thickness. I rolled it to about half an inch thick.
Spread marinara sauce all over the rolled out pizza dough. Sprinkle with Gouda and mozzarella cheeses.
Spread the prepared mushrooms over the top. Here you can add any other kinds of toppings to the pizza, if you wish.
  • Bake the pizza in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
    Serve immediately.
    Enjoy!
