In a medium bowl combine warm (not hot) water, oil, instant dry yeast and salt. You can also add some dries oregano or dried basil to the dough mix, if you wish. You can either use an electric mixer fitted with a dough hook, or your hands. As you like.
Gradually add the flour, until a soft dough forms and starts to pull away from the sides of the bowl. The reason for gradually adding the flour, and not all at once, is because you might not need all the flour at the end.
Once the dough is pulling away from the sides of the bowl, flip the bowl onto a work bench and with a bit of flour, start kneading the dough. Knead for about 2-6 minutes, depending on the type of flour or if you are kneading by hand. The dough should be smooth and elastic, but not stick or leave residue on your hands.
Cover the dough with a clean towel and let it rest for about 10 minutes.
In the meantime, prepare your pizza toppings. Hams, salamis, bell peppers, tomatoes, cheese ..... whatever your stomach desires. =)
