Baked Chicken Breasts

Super tender and juicy, these chicken breasts will make a great addition to your dinner table. Very fast and easy to make, with just a few ingredients.

Preheat oven to 230°C (450°F).

In a bowl mix together salt, pepper, paprika and garlic powder.

In a baking dish, place the chicken breasts in a single layer.Brush with melted butter, or oil on both sides.

Sprinkle evenly with the spice mixture on both sides.

Bake for 15 – 18 minutes.

Once the chicken is cooked, remove from the oven. Transfer the chicken breast to a clean plate, cover loosely with aluminium foil and let stand for 5 – 10 minutes.

Store in an air-tight container, in the fridge or up to 3 days. Or freeze up to 3 months.

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (brine in salt water)
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter
  • salt
  • freshly ground black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder

How to brine chicken breasts:

  • Fill a large bowl or food storage bag with 2 cups of warm water and dissolve ¼ cup of salt in it.
    Add the chicken breasts and leave for at least 15 minutes.
    Remove the chicken breasts from the brine, rinse with cold water and pat dry with a paper towel.
