Salmon Fillet

Salmon fillet is delicious, juicy and so easy to make. All you need is a few ingredients to make a delicious meal. Important thing about making any kind of seafood is not to overcook it. Most of the seafood requires just a few minutes of cooking, thus making it a really good choice for a quick and healthy meal.

Preheat olive oil in a frying pan over medium high heat. Add the butter. 

Note: Butter is optional here, but it goes really well with seafood, any type of seafood as it adds this nice buttery, creamy flavor to the dish.

Rub salmon fillets with salt and freshly ground black pepper, on both sides.

Place the salmon fillets in the frying pan, skin down first.

Fry for about 2-3 minutes, or until the skin is nice golden brown and crispy.

Carefully, with a thin spatula, turn the salmon fillets on the other side. Careful no to break it, the flesh is very delicate. Fry for another 3-4 minutes.

And you are done.

Garnish with spring onions or chives and serve with a side of rice or colorful pasta and a lemon wedge. Enjoy!
