Super Chewy Brownies

Discovered this recipe years ago and have been making brownies like this since then. Turn out super chewy every time. So easy to make, super chewy and full of chocolaty flavor.

Mix the flour, salt and cacao powder in a medium bowl. Set aside.

In another bowl whisk together melted butter, sugar and vanilla extract.

Beat in the egg and whisk until well combined.

Gradually add the flour/cacao mixture into the egg mixture and mix until well combined.

The batter will be quite thick and sticky.

Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F).

Spread the batter into the prepared pan. The batter will be quite thick and sticky. Even out the batter and try to get it into the corners of the pan.

Bake for about 20-25 minutes, or until the brownies begin to pull away from the sides of the pan.

Remove from oven and allow to cool in the pan.

Once cooled, remove from pan and cut into 12 squares.

Enjoy!
