Beef Steak with Herbs and Butter

This time I decided to grill this good looking rib-eye steak on a stove-top grill and the result was awesome.

Beef Steak with Herbs and Butter

Equipment

  • Meat thermometer
  • Grill pan

Ingredients

  • 200 gram Rib Eye Beef Steak
  • 2 sprigs fresh thyme
  • 3 tablespoons butter

Instructions

  • First bring the steak to room temperature.
    Warm-up the grill on the stove to medium-high temperature.
    Gently place the steak on the grill. It should sizzle when you do it.
  • Place 3 tablespoons of butter into the pan. Turn the steak after 2 and a half minutes.
  • As soon as you flipped it, gently place the fresh thyme sprigs onto the meat and baste with the melted butter.
  • Check the doneness by hand or with a meat thermometer
  • Take the steak out and plate with fresh thyme leaves and herb butter.
    Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving then enjoy!
