Belgium, a great country with great food, amazing chocolate and so much beer. 🙂 🙂 🙂 When I was in Belgium, I tried the best chocolate, hot chocolate and of course waffles that I ever had. Since then I purchased a waffle iron and started making them myself. Of course they are not exactly the same, but like any other recipe, everyone adds a unique touch to every recipe.
Below is my favorite Belgian waffle recipe. Hope you will enjoy it too.
I have a Tefal Snack Collection Iron with waffle inserts, but you can find a similar waffle maker here.
My waffle iron has a light indicator which turns green when the waffles are cooked through. About 5 minutes.
Belgian waffles are a great dessert, or as breakfast. Enjoy!
